Kara originally grew up in a small west Texas town called Denver City with her Dad being the only REALTOR in town. She spent some time in Lubbock, but in 2010 moved to the DFW metroplex and attended UTA and fell in love with the Fort Worth and the Arlington area.

Prior to Real Estate, Kara worked in healthcare for about 5 years before meeting Cody Bevan of Bevan Builders. She began working for Cody Bevan and fell in love with the home building process and helping home buyers build their dream homes with Bevan Builders. Kara says that “I loved seeing homes come alive from initial drawings to the final product!” After a year of working with Bevan Builders, Kara jumped into Real Estate and received her license and still works with Bevan today. She says, “I have a passion for helping people build their homes and knew that would translate into helping people find the home of their dreams, even if they aren’t building.”

Kara says, “I pride myself on being an honest person, it just makes life easier. I have also learned over time that I really enjoy detail-oriented tasks which is something needed in real estate when writing contracts, negotiating and seeing transactions through the very end. “
